THE CHALLENGE
Characterization of fluid aerodynamics in a wind tunnel requires tracers. However, material tracers that don’t break down after measurement require cleanup and lead to long term higher maintenance costs.
THE SOLUTION
We helped the U.S. Army development a novel means to enhance real time fluid dynamics analysis with tracers that provide optical cues but rapidly dissipate once used for evaluation.
BENEFIT TO CLIENT
After dissipation the tunnel diagnostics can be continued without requiring clean-up.
