Spectrofyre Thermal Vision
Nanohmics will soon announce a new product line, the Spectrofyre Thermal Camera, which is an uncooled infrared camera that can switch from broadband to multi-color thermal infrared imaging. The Spectrofyre is a handheld, portable instrument that provides solutions to industrial and defense problems that previously required bespoke cryocooled systems, including:
Detection of concealed threats, including disturbed earth and explosive precursor chemicals
Absolute temperature and emissivity imaging without an in-scene reference
Realtime counter camouflage, concealment, and deception from ground or sky
Contrast enhancement of low-signature and low-contrast features, such as during thermal crossover
Thermal anomaly detection and classification
Standoff spectropyrometry
An operational Spectrofyre B.5 Thermal Camera prototype will be showcased at the 2024 USMC SBIR Expo. The performance metrics will be available to attendees, which includes:
640x512 format
60 Hz broadband
Up to 5 Hz spectral cube
>3hr full multispectral operation per charge on 2x 18650’s
