Mike Mayo

Mike Mayo is cofounder and President of Nanohmics, Inc. In his more than 15 years as head of Nanohmics, Mike has lead the team’s strategic business planning, commercial partnerships and technical direction as well as all financial and resource management of the firm.

Prior to Nanohmics, Mike served as director of biotechnology engineering for an optical instruments venture and developed semiconductor metrology tools at another VC-backed startup company. He also commercialized military laser eye protection, chemical and biological warfare-agent point detectors along with laser-based weapons and sensors while serving as a research engineering officer in the U.S. Air Force.
