Automated thermal management of HVAC at data storage facilities is needed to keep electronics at peak performance.

THE SOLUTION

We helped CEG design and integrate a local hot spot sensing network management system to maintain server integrity and satisfy on-demand spot cooling by designing duct-borne thermal control sensors that were integrated with the ducting system at a data storage facility.

BENEFIT TO CLIENT

The DCIM package provided a means to lower cost and effectively managment HVAC distribution centers which are a sizable cost needed to maintain server performance and make room for systems with even higher computational power.
